WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR?

As the year gradually comes to an end, with Christmas approaching πŸ˜€ I decided to do a “what are you thankful for” post; to appreciate all I’ve had in the past 11 months.

The first and most important thing I’m thankful for is my family. If I begin to list all the people I’ve known in one way or another, or people who I didn’t know, who passed away a couple of months ago (from January 2016 till date), the list will be endless. But, I have my family with me. Despite all our fights and arguments, I never lost any of them; and I’m beyond grateful for that. Entering another year (2017) with them is the best gift I can receive! I’m really happy to have them by my side; they’re my treasure; even though I never show or say it.

The other things I’m thankful for is my health, and that of everyone I know. I’ve been sick severally this year; but it wasn’t serious. Neither me, my family, nor my friends were seriously ill. I’m also thankful for everyone’s support in the blogging community. The amount of love, kindness and support I’ve received from you guys is amazing. I’m thankful for all I have; from the smallest thing to the biggest thing. Lastly, I’m thankful for life. Words can’t describe how happy and thankful I am for another wonderful year; despite the ups and downs, it was amazing. Thank you God!πŸ™

What are you guys thankful for? And what do you wish for?

  3. I’m thankful to have made it so far in life and perhaps learned a few things along the way. I’m thankful I know how to stand up for myself with courtesy and dignity, and for that I am thankful for all the bad experiences that gave me so much practice. I’m thankful for a flexible heart, that forgives again and again. I don’t have any family, so I am thankful for my friends who have been my mentors on this journey we call life.
