I MIGHT NEED AN AUTHOR/ A CONTRIBUTOR

I think it’s crazy that I’m thinking about; more like considering getting an author or a contributor for my blog. Someone who’ll help me run things and post when I’m unable to because lately I haven’t felt like writing; or I just want to explore more things so I’m unable to post as much as I used to. Especially during this holiday period; and it’s taking a toll on my blog. I was thinking about a contributor but then I’ll have to approve of and publish their post. But what if I don’t like what the author publishes and I decide to take it off? So it’s kind of like yes or no/ what should I do? If I decide to get someone, will it be an author or a contributor? And for how long? If I decide not to, I’ll have to try to write lots of post and save them because I’ll need someone who’s active.

This is just my thought. If I decide to get someone to help out, I’ll keep you guys updated. Have a wonderful holiday😀

  1. I would suggest contributor if you are planning for more diverse content. One of the way for you to control it is, give them topics or themes based on your preference. Well, you might need to review the articles first, as long as it stick with the theme and some quick scheming, I’m sure you can handle it.

However, if you plan for co-author, it’s not bad too. You just need to find someone who you can trust and able to work together. Doesn’t matter which one, I’ll still read your blog. 😀

  2. Try looking it up. Many times they are people from various countries who will list their specialities to do blog services for 1/2 the price. You can read their bio’s, interview them, chose 1 or 2 and see who you like best. My nephew is a networking/computer guru and told me about them. Let me know if you can’t find them and I’ll ask my nephew for more details. You can also email me. 🙂

      1. Tina had it so that we wrote the posts we had to get it to her 2-3 days before agreed date and she added her intro on it and scheduled post (I’m guessing on the schedule part) she had a variety of different things posted from Christmas book reviews to favourite memory of Christmas. You basically could do what you liked. You might prefer to have guidelines or something on what you’ll allow to be posted under your brand. Check out her blog and you’ll see what I mean.

  3. We are three admins/writers at our blog. Only 2 of us writes. It works as we respect each other. But it IS a danerous step to take. Don’worry if your blog gets less hits during your holidays. At other times it will pick up again.

  4. Yes, I know what it’s like not being able to write due to being busy, especially now with the season. I’m sure you’ll make the right decision, happy blogging!

  5. Hello,

What kind of writer are you thinking of? Someone with your style, I imagine. Someone who shares your belief in poetry or considers the importance of spreading joy to the world? How much notice would you give them if you needed them?

    Thanks,

    Caroline

  6. If you’re like me you’ll probably want to read through every single thing the co-author or contributor writes and you’ll probably be picky and all. If you are like that, my advice to you is to just keep doing it yourself. You have a great style already. I know it’s hard but if you can plan posts in advance or reblog posts that mean alot to you it would be much easier . I’m about to try this too so you’re welcome to join me 😉
    I hope this helps✨✨
